you should probably just start out with an acoustic guitar and then work your way up from there

I’d suggest buying a Fender Squier Strat. They’re pretty cheap and great for beginners. You can go to a Guitar Center or local music store and they should have “Squier Strat Packs” where it comes with the guitar, a small amp, and some other things. Accoustics are harder to play and they can be expensive (same with accoustic-electrics)

well you should start on acoustic or bass to get a general idea on how to play. But if you are ready I recomend a Fender Strat it can make almost any sound with the right tools.

All the squire packages are good for beginners. If you like to play pop punk. Get a cut away acoustic, it feels like an electric and they are pretty cheap. The Talman Ibanez guitars are pretty cheap.

You could invest in an electric/acousticse to stay in tune and the necks warp terribly, to the point where you can’t play them! Go to a real music store. One that specializes in guitars. Ask the sales person to demonstrate a few for you and to reccommend one for a beginner. Don’t buy a cheap one. They are usually hard to fret, and will make your fingers bleed. Very discouraging for a beginner!
