@Eamonthegreat2 Kirk can only brutalize wah wah pedal better than Dave. Dave is not the best metal guitarist but he don’t need to fake his solos like Kirk.

Well if Kirk ****** then why is HE AND METALLICA IN THE RNR HALL OF FAME? AND IT GETS SO FREAKIN OLD OVER THE BATTLE OF WHOS BETTER HAMMETT OR MUSTAINE! OPINIONS ARE LIKE AZZHOLES EVERYONE HAS ONE AND THEY BOTH ARE GREAT. BUT LOOK AT THE USERNAME IT SAYS IT ALL! Careful what you say about his tone. I made that observation and got beat down by the fanboys. I agree with you 100%. That is a lot of equipment to have such a mediocre sound. Ive played guitar for more then 30 years now and have been a sound engineer for over ten years. Maybe his guitar tech had the day off?

King, Hammett and Mustaine are not quality guitarists. Mustaine is a brilliant songwriter, Hammett just does what he’s told like a good boy. Kerry King is the biggest waste of fucking talentless ******* that was ever allowed to play a guitar on stage. But seriously Hammett isn’t that good.

King is a ***.
He insulted metallica like he’s too good for everyone.
He can play fast, but he just can’t make his guitar scream or sing melodically like kirk hammett or james hetfield.
He makes it vomit. WHich is nice to see once… but twice? Same ****. Gimme something other than a vomit. Kthx.
Metallica forever. One of the real versatile bands that still strive.

dave mustaine is not a better soloist than kirk for obvious reasons, keyword being soloist, but a better match up is any of megadeth’s co guitarist virtuosos to kirk. thats a more logical, more intelligent comparison.
