Ok if your in school, try and get lessons through the music faculty. At my school, independent guitar lessons cost $20, $15 if you do it with a group for half an hour.
If you go to a private institution, the price does vary a lot, sometimes $30 – $50 for half an hour.
Look around in newspapers, ads around your local shopping center, and ask people who might know someone willing to offer some lessons for cheap.
If your still in school, ask some music kids to give you some lessons and they’ll give you it cheap or ask if they have siblings who will.
If you go to a company or through your school, they might let you borrow guitars.
A nylon acoustic is pretty cheap, it’s about $60, it’s good for beginners. I’d suggest getting something like that if your serious about lessons. If you decide you really enjoy playing, you can put in some more money for something a bit more expensive. Ooohh and go to cash converters, they always have cheap acoustics. Just make sure you bring someone with you that knows guitars well.
Good luck dude

It usually runs about 60 bucks an hour. you need your own guitar (you can rent but probably not from the instructor from a music shop)
